Nelson Bay Legacy Markets
April 3: Neil Carroll Park, Nelson Bay. Time: 9am-2pm.
Second-hand tools and clothes to arthritis cream, candle oils, handicrafts, local produce, art, pottery, plants and cakes. The Nelson Bay Legacy Markets are held the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month.
Raymond Terrace Twilight Market - postponed
April 1: Riverside Park, Raymond Terrace. Time: 4pm-8pm.
A collaboration between Homegrown Markets and Port Stephens Council, the first It's On x Homegrown Summer Nights Market in Raymond Terrace is family friendly, bursting with good vibes, acoustic music, great street food and kids activities.
This market has been postponed to April 22, during the Easter school holiday, due to the forecast winds of up to 70km/h and rainfall on Friday.
Bay Homegrown Market - cancelled
April 2: Nelson Bay Foreshore, Victoria Parade. Time: 4pm-8pm.
Homegrown brings the market magic to the Nelson Bay foreshore with handmade, eco-focused and local design stalls, street food, gourmet produce and entertainment.
This market has been cancelled due to unfavourable weather and will return to the Nelson Bay foreshore on Easter Saturday, April 16.
Mallabula Skate and Sounds
April 8: Mallabula Skate Park, Lemon Tree Passage Road, Mallabula. Time: 4pm-7pm. Cost: Free.
The community is invited to celebrate the completed upgrades at Mallabula Sports Complex. Totem Skateboarding and Up&Up will host music, street art and workshops at the upgraded skate park. There will be a skateboard and scooter competition for under-10s up to over 16s with prizes and a free barbecue. The cost to enter is free but participants must register: eventbrite.com.au/e/mallabula-skatepark-free-best-trick-jam-tickets-294360559357. This is also a Port Stephens Youth Week event.

A family friendly market by the Fingal Bay foreshore featuring live music, more than 80 stalls with a variety of products and food vendors. A market that supports local makers and producers.
Live @ Lemmo
April 9: Henderson Park stage, Lemon Tree Passage. Time: 4pm-8pm. Cost: Free.
Local favourite pub band Shed 13 will perform live and free on the Lemon Tree waterfront. BYO chairs, picnic rugs, bug spray and food. This event is sponsored by Tilligerry Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Port Stephens Council.

Clarence Town Lions Club will host a screening of hit family film Encanto in Lions park. A 5m screen will be set up on the hill. BYO picnic rugs, blankets and chairs. The first 200 children will receive a bag of popcorn, sausage and drink. Food and drink will be available to buy. Subject to weather conditions.
Sunset cinema
April 9: Lakeside Leisure Centre, Raymond Terrace. Time: 4pm-7pm. Cost: Free but bookings required.
Port Stephens Council will hot a sunset cinema event with free pizza, popcorn, ice-cream, pool games and a live screening Home Team at Raymond Terrace's indoor pool as part of NSW Youth Week. There will also be a DJ and giant games to enjoy. Book at pscouncil.info/3qOe4Qk.
Medowie Colour Run
April 10: Boyd Oval, Medowie. Time: 10.30am-5pm. Cost: $45 (children), $55 (adult), $100 (2A, 2C).

Up&Up will host Snak N Rap in Medowie. The free event will include skate demos by Grundy's Skateboarding, a best trick skate and scooter, street art demos and workshops and a free BBQ by Medowie Lions Club.
