VARIOUS LOCATIONS
Port Stephens will kick off NAIDOC Week at Raymond Terrace on Thursday, July 4, with a flag raising and speeches, followed by a march down William Street and a community day at Riverside Park. Murrook Culture Centre will host a family fun day on Monday, July 8 from 10am to 2pm, with activities and entertainment on offer. There will be a NAIDOC event at Nelson Bay foreshore on Wednesday, July 10, with a march along Stockton Street and a family fun day.

The Marina Market returns to the Nelson Bay Foreshore for a market day filled with makers, designers and foodies on Saturday, July 6. There will be plenty of street food, local-made retail, live music, face painting and gourmet produce from 11am to 3pm.

NELSON BAY BOWLING CLUB
Ben Eick is set for a big return to Port Stephens audiences on Sunday, July 7, at the Nelson Bay Bowling Club. Formerly from the duo Full House, with vocalist Cindy Eick, Ben now has a solo act to bring back to the Bay. Vegemite Jam is a concept seeing great Aussie classic songs showcased, with a dabble of non Aussie party songs too. Great vocals and guitar sure to set the scene for good vibes and party atmosphere - playing the right songs at the right time.

Head along to Cheeky Dog for a day of fun at their Cheeky Grand Farm event, there will also be a jumping castle for the kids to enjoy. Spend a Sunday afternoon in the charm of hand-raised seasonal farm animals, including baby mini ponies and donkeys, calves and piglets, sheep and goats and rabbits and Guinea pigs.
CRAFT WORKSHOPS
CWA HALL, NELSON BAY
CWA Nelson Bay are hosting craft workshops for kids in the July school holidays. There is one workshop on Tuesday, July 9 and another workshop on Thursday, July 11. It is $10 per child to attend and it includes all materials and morning tea. Bookings are essential, call Kim on 0476 101 851.
